As a Senior Engagement Manager at People.ai, you will be a pivotal contributor, successfully guiding project teams to deliver complex technical projects across various phases of the customer journey. You will be responsible for managing resources, schedules, and creating best practices and change management plans in close partnership with our customers. This role ensures adherence to quality and governance throughout the customer onboarding lifecycle, actively managing issues, risks, and project change requests to guarantee successful and on-time project delivery, and continuously contributes to process improvement initiatives within our implementation methodology.

Responsibilities:

    • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including clear objectives, detailed timelines, and optimized resource allocation, ensuring alignment with customer and organizational goals.
    • Lead the execution of technical implementation projects, overseeing the entire customer onboarding lifecycle, actively managing scope changes, and proactively mitigating risks.
    • Establish and maintain effective communication channels, ensuring timely and clear project expectations are conveyed to both internal teams and diverse external stakeholders.
    • Cultivate and sustain strong, trust-based relationships with customers and key stakeholders, fostering collaboration and alignment throughout the project.
    • Ensure all projects are delivered on time and meet defined quality standards, driving for successful project outcomes that contribute directly to the organization's strategic objectives.
    • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement within project management processes and methodologies, implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Proactively identify potential issues and risks, developing and implementing solutions that drive value for customers and promote end-user adoption, while navigating challenges constructively.

Requirements:

    • 5+ years of experience in a Project Manager or Engagement Manager role, preferably within a SaaS or technology environment, managing enterprise-level technical implementations.
    • Demonstrated knowledge of fundamental project management processes, methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid), and proficiency in adapting them to diverse organizational contexts.
    • Expertise in using leading project management tools and software (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello).
    • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong ability to analyze complex technical requirements and develop effective, data-driven solutions.
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to effectively communicate with highly technical teams, business executives, and external customers.
    • Strong leadership capabilities with experience in leading, motivating, and fostering high-performing project teams, including conflict resolution and team-building.
    • High degree of adaptability and resilience, capable of navigating changing project requirements, priorities, and unexpected challenges with a solution-oriented mindset.
    • Solid understanding of the technical aspects of enterprise software implementation projects, and the ability to effectively work with technical teams and interpret technical documentation.
    • Strategic mindset with the ability to clearly understand organizational goals and align project outcomes to contribute to broader strategic objectives.
    • Demonstrated customer focus with a strong commitment to exceeding customer expectations and building long-lasting relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

A reasonable estimate of on-target earnings (OTE) is $130,000 to $164,000. Additionally, regular employees may be eligible for commissions or bonus programs (target included in OTE), equity, and benefits. The range is subject to change. People.ai takes into wide range of factors when determining an individual’s pay. These factors can include, skill set, training and experience, licensure and certifications, and location and metropolitan area.
