We are currently seeking an inspirational Technical Writer to join our team. As a Technical Writer at, you will play a key role in empowering our internal team and our customers to succeed by owning and producing high-quality, accurate and complete documentation.  We are open to talent in Pacific Time Zone and Mountain Time Zone.

Technical writing sits at the intersection of product, design, science and engineering. Therefore, you must be curious and be able to spearhead cross-functional collaboration to understand and communicate the value behind our product and how to use it.

Clearly written and accessible documentation is an extension of our product’s user experience. Over time, you also will be expected to champion innovative ways to educate our customers about Mirage, our flagship product, and its capabilities. 

Some examples of what you would produce include user training guides, features documentation, admin/configuration guides, UI and API documents, customer-facing release notes, video tutorials, and other documents.


    • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, or equivalent technical writing experience
    • Demonstrated ability to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience, and to create documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences
    • Ability to successfully communicate the value proposition of a product; explain the “why”
    • Experience writing a variety of technical documents, including user and admin guides, features documents, UI/API documentation, architecture guides, etc. 
    • Ability to collaborate with others and learn new material
    • Experience documenting large applications and systems
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Proficiency with G-Suite products and Adobe InDesign
    • Ability to create documentation that adheres to design style guidelines
    • Exquisite attention to detail and ability to produce clear, concise documentation
    • US citizenship required due to federal requirements

Nice to Have

    • Experience creating in-application help systems 
    • Experience writing for government/federal audiences
    • Strong understanding of scalability and security issues and concerns
    • Graphic design skills and experience
