Position Summary :

Uday Shankar, Global Head of Product Design and Research at Perforce, is seeking an Associate Product Researcher. This role is designed for someone eager to dive deep into user behaviors, preferences, and interactions to drive impactful product improvements and innovations.

Responsibilities :

    • Work closely with other researchers and product managers to understand product goals and define research objectives that align with those aims.
    • Participate in all stages of research, from identifying needs, planning, conducting, analyzing, to communicating findings.
    • Effectively communicate research findings across teams and stakeholders, ensuring actionable insights are understood and implemented.
    • Work with the team to expand the UX research practice across the organization, introducing research methodologies to teams and projects new to UX insights.
    • Contribute to the growth of our UX research practice by collaborating with fellow researchers on team practices and processes.

Requirement :

    • 1-2 years of experience in user research or a related field, with a portfolio that demonstrates a clear understanding of research methodologies and their impact.
    • Knowledge of conducting in-depth interviews, usability testing, and concept testing.
    • Strong communication abilities, capable of conveying research findings to a diverse audience.
    • Self-motivated, able to manage your time and work effectively, and meet agreed-upon project deadlines.
    • A self-directed learner eager to learn and adapt to new research methods and user experience trends.
    • Comfortable in a highly technical environment. Our users are DevOps professionals who face complex technical challenges. While you don’t need to be a DevOps expert to succeed in this role, you must be willing to learn the basics to understand our users’ challenges. 

Preferred Qualifications:

    • Some experience with quantitative research methodologies like surveys and analytics reviews is a plus.
    • Degree in a human behavior-related field, like psychology, human-computer interaction, or social sciences is a plus.
