- Technical Leadership – Provide authoritative guidance on database, infrastructure, and automation topics relevant to Delphix implementations.
- Customer Engagement – Act as the primary technical contact for assigned projects, facilitating design discussions, solution reviews, and acceptance milestones.
- Integration Expertise – Implement integrations with enterprise systems, CI/CD pipelines, and automation workflows.
- Optimization – Analyze performance, scalability, and operational efficiency; recommend and execute improvements.
- Knowledge Development – Create technical documentation, operational runbooks, and reusable solution patterns.
- Collaboration – Partner with Principal Engineers and Enterprise Architects to align technical execution with overall solution architecture.
- Pre-Sales Support – Support scoping, technical assessments, and proof-of-concept engagements in collaboration with sales engineering.
- Mentorship – Share expertise with peers, providing guidance and technical oversight to less experienced engineers.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in Professional Services, Solutions Engineering, or equivalent technical consulting roles.
- Advanced expertise in one or more enterprise database platforms (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.), including backup/recovery, replication, and performance tuning.
- Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid deployment models.
- Proficiency with scripting and automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell) and familiarity with tools such as Ansible or Terraform.
- Strong understanding of networking, storage, and security considerations for enterprise-scale deployments.
- Proven ability to lead customer-facing technical engagements from design through go-live.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for engaging both technical and executive audiences.
Preferred:
- Experience with Delphix products or similar data virtualization, masking, or test data management platforms.
- Familiarity with CI/CD automation practices and DevOps data delivery patterns.
- Understanding of compliance requirements (GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA) and data governance frameworks.
