The Technical Lead is a key expert in the company’s engineering team, playing a crucial role in developing and maintaining our software products. You will be responsible for designing and developing new features, be involved in regular upgrades of our tech stack, ensuring the reliability and performance of our systems. Working across the full stack, you will gain a deep understanding of our services and ecosystems, enabling you to make significant technical contributions. 

Additionally, this role involves mentoring and training engineers, contributing to their professional development and growth, and fostering a collaborative, innovative team environment. Your expertise will drive the technical direction of projects and help shape the future of our engineering practices.

About You:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
    • 6+ years of hands-on engineering experience, including 3+ years in senior roles and at least 1 year as a Technical Lead.
    • 1+ years of experience working on SaaS products using PHP.
    • Proficiency in:
    • - PHP, Bash, or Python scripting
      - JavaScript/TypeScript
      - Docker & Kubernetes
      - AWS infrastructure (IaaS)
      - TDD, Agile, and Scrum practices
    • Strong problem-solving skills and architectural thinking with a practical, product-first mindset.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across global teams.
    • A passion for building clean, scalable systems and helping others do the same.

Compensation

    • Our company's Compensation Philosophy is to provide competitive pay using industry-specific data to reward and recognize employees based on performance.
    • We offer flexibility with compensation through full-time employment compensated in Sri Lankan Rupees OR a fixed contract arrangement in USD, depending on the candidate's preference and suitability.
