For over 60 years, our staff has helped thousands of pets, including dogs and cats, live healthier, longer-lasting lives. The Medical Director will be a driver of the hospital practice, focusing on building outstanding customer experience. They will take pride in offering unmatched care, ensuring our communication with our clients is clear and understood. They are a pivotal piece of the workflow, establishing an efficient movement of patients and clients through their appointments. They will partner with the practice manager in leadership, patient care, staff mentorship and development, and meeting the financial goals of the practice.
We offer a complete laboratory, digital radiology, ultrasound, and more. The practice sees a wide range of cases, from wellness visits to complex workups. As part of the PetWell team, we have access to veterinary professionals both locally and nationally, ranging in experience and skillset who are willing and committed to seeing growth for their peers. The support structure offers additional resources for medical cases, management issues, and cultural topics
- Must have DVM OR VMD from an AVMA accredited institution.
- License to practice veterinary medicine in the state of clinic location.
- Veterinary license must be in good standing.
- DEA licensure is preferred.
- Must have enthusiasm for continued learning and improvement, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach.
- Open to experienced practitioners.
- Availability to work some Saturdays.
