Arlington Pet Care Hospital, an AAHA accredited hospital in Arlington, TX, is seeking a compassionate, results-oriented Medical Director. We seek to provide professional, timely care to every animal that comes through our doors and focus on work, life, and family balance. As the Medical Director will enjoy being part of a collaborative team and will be the driver of the practice, focusing on building outstanding customer experience. You will take pride in offering unmatched care, ensuring our communication with our clients is clear and understood. You will partner with the practice manager in leadership, patient care, staff mentorship and development, and meeting the financial goals of the practice.

For over 30 years, we have helped thousands of dogs and cats live healthier, longer-lasting lives. Arlington Pet Care Hospital is a full-service veterinary medical facility, offering traditional veterinary medicine. We see a variety of cases, from wellness to complex workups and offer in-house laboratory, digital radiography, and ultrasound.

We are seeking a partner with a vested interest in the financial success of the practice, a results-oriented attitude, and who is committed to establishing deep roots in the community. As part of the PetWell team, we have access to veterinary professionals both locally and nationally, ranging in experience and skillset who are willing and committed to seeing growth for their peers. The support structure offers additional resources for medical cases, management issues, and cultural topics.

The Medical Director has:

    • 5+ years of experience, 2+ years of leadership experience
    • Must have DVM OR VMD from an AVMA accredited institution.
    • License to practice veterinary medicine in the state of clinic location.
    • Veterinary license must be in good standing.
    • DEA licensure is preferred.
    • Must have a passion for continued learning and improvement, excellent communication skills, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach.
    • Availability to work some Saturdays.
