A day in the life
As PEXA’s Talent Acquisition Lead, no two days are quite the same. One day you might be partnering with senior leaders to shape a new role and advise on the best way to assess talent. The next, you could be deep in the market, sourcing for a critical hire, mapping competitors, and reaching out to prospective candidates. You’ll spend time coaching hiring managers on structured interviewing, ensuring they’re confident and capable in making evidence-based decisions. You’ll also take ownership of our ATS, keeping the process smooth, data accurate, and insights flowing to the team. All the while, you’ll keep candidate experience front of mind, ensuring every applicant feels valued and respected throughout the process.
About the role
This role exists to build on the refreshed foundations of PEXA’s talent acquisition function. We’re looking for someone to embed consistent, scalable recruitment practices and continue to mature the function as the business grows.
Key capabilities we’re looking for
• Building strong partnerships with leaders and acting as a trusted advisor.
• Proactive sourcing and market insight to shape pipelines for critical roles.
• Championing structured, inclusive assessment and selection practices.
• Driving process discipline and ATS ownership to deliver insights and compliance.
What success looks like in the first 6–12 months
• New talent acquisition practices are embedded and consistently used across the business.
• The ATS is optimised and adopted by leaders, recruiters, and candidates.
• Hiring manager experience improves, with better feedback loops and stronger capability in recruitment.
• Clear workforce pipelines exist for critical roles, with succession visibility in place.
• Key recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, candidate experience, quality of hire) show measurable improvement.
