Role Overview

As a Business Development Manager for the Conveyancer Sales team will be responsible for fostering collaboration across the Conveyancing industry and community.

You will be responsible for driving the adoption of the PEXA platform by law firms to streamline property transactions.

You will be part of a national team of BDMs all striving to achieve the same objectives, but you will work independently to lead sales efforts in your given geographical area.

The ideal candidate will take ownership of their geographical areas progress, tracking and presenting results while aligning success with the broader Conveyancer Sales strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Execute and deliver on the sales strategy within the Conveyancing sector, driving adoption of the PEXA platform.
    • Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders within their given location, including law firms and CMS providers.
    • Work independently and as part of the national sales team to spearhead sales initiatives.
    • Implement business development strategies to drive revenue growth and market penetration.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding, integration and customer success.
    • Track, analyse, and report on sales performance metrics, presenting insights and strategic recommendations to their people leader.
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape to appropriate engage with market and marketing colleagues and to inform sales strategy.

Key Skills & Experience:

    • Proven track record in a sales role within the Conveyancing, Legal, or PropTech sectors.
    • OR a Conveyancing Solicitor looking to transition into a sales role
    • Strong knowledge of property transactions and conveyancing processes in the UK.
    • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
    • Experience of working with technology platforms and driving digital adoption.
    • Highly motivated, self-sufficient, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving market.
    • Proven ability to manage stakeholders both within the organisation and outside of it.
    • Willingness to travel across a given geographical location as well as nationwide as required.
£40,000 - £50,000 a year
Plus bonus (OTE £60-80k)
