Role Summary
The Brand & Design Manager role is responsible for interpreting and executing the Company’s brand strategy and overseeing all design and branding to ensure consistency, clarity, and alignment with the Company’s values and objectives, and alignment with the global brand. The role involves delivery of initiatives for brand identity, and design from online presence, marketing collateral, merchandise and presentation material. A creative eye and flair for design are key to enhance the Company’s image and build strong brand identity and loyalty with stakeholders. This role is key for shaping how the Company is perceived by both internal and external audiences, ensuring a consistent and positive brand image.
Key Accountabilities
- Lead the brand management and visual identity across all five brands in the UK group: PEXA, Smoove, Optima, Amity Law, and Legal Eye, ensuring consistency in brand messaging, design, and overall presentation.
- Oversee the creation and delivery of high-quality design assets to support the content program; including websites, social media graphics, exhibition stands, literature, PowerPoints, eBooks, reports, whitepapers, email templates, ads, infographics, and videos.
- Develop and maintain brand guidelines for all UK brands, ensuring all internal and external communications adhere to the established visual and tone standards.
- Collaborate closely with the Brand & Communications Director and cross-functional teams to ensure design and branding efforts align with overall marketing and business strategies.
- Manage the external design and production partners, providing leadership and creative direction to ensure all projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to a high standard.
- Work closely with content creators, digital marketing, and product teams to design materials that effectively communicate complex ideas in an engaging and visually appealing way.
- Drive innovation in brand design, staying ahead of industry trends and ensuring that all design outputs are modern, compelling, and competitive within the market.
- Ensure all design work is optimised for both digital and print formats, working across multiple platforms to deliver adaptable and responsive design solutions.
- Oversee the production and design of materials for key events, such as trade shows and webinars; including exhibition stands, presentations, and branded merchandise.
- Track the performance of brand and design initiatives, using feedback and analytics to optimise creative outputs and enhance brand perception.
Skills and Experience
- You must have experience in proptech, mortgages or conveyancing in a B2B environment
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Graphic Design or a related field. Master’s degree or MBA desirable.
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years experience in brand and communications roles, with at least 3 years in a management position.
- Brand Management Expertise: Proven experience managing multiple B2B brands, with a deep understanding of how to maintain consistency in visual identity, tone, and messaging across different platforms and media.
- Advanced Design Skills: Strong expertise in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite), with the ability to create visually engaging assets for a wide range of formats, including web, social, print, and video.
- Creative Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead a design function and external suppliers, providing clear direction and feedback to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality creative work.
- Multi-Channel Design Experience: Extensive experience designing for various formats; including websites, social media, exhibitions, presentations, reports, and digital marketing materials.
- Versatility in Design: Ability to design for both print and digital formats, optimising assets for responsive and adaptive use across various platforms.
- Strategic Brand Building: Proven experience in evolving and refining brand identities over time, ensuring alignment with evolving business goals and market positioning.
- Market Knowledge: Proven B2B experience in the property market, with a strong track record in developing and delivering communications strategies that engage key audiences such as lenders and conveyancers.
- Change & Comms: Experience in change management, particularly within fast-paced or evolving industries. Ability to maintain consistency in messaging.
