Phoenix Paramedic Solutions is hiring individuals interested in joining our Peer-Based Recovery Support Team. We have both part and full-time positions available. We offer an opportunity to be part of an interdisciplinary program where Peer-Based Recovery Support professionals operate in a mobile integrated health system with clinical support and oversight. Our community-based, recovery initiation model identifies individuals who are struggling with severe substance use and/or mental health issues and brings a client-centered, self-directed, array of recovery pathways and support choices directly to our clients.

Expectations

    • CRS - Certified Recovery Specialist
    • Must be a person in long-term recovery who is currently certified as a CRS or is qualified to undergo CRS training. (minimum one-year recovery required by Mental Health America NorthEast Indiana, certifying body). Must be technology proficient to meet the demands of today’s workplace; capable of working on a team; and supportive of self-directed, multiple pathways to recovery approach. Please note this self-directed approach may include harm-reduction pathways.
    • CHW - Community Health Worker
    • Must have empathy for individuals who are in need of and/or seeking recovery from severe substance use and/or mental health issues. Must be technology proficient to meet the demands of today’s workplace. Must be capable of working on a team; and supportive of self-directed, multiple pathways to recovery approach. Preferred experience with behavioral health systems.
    • Must have a valid driver's license and be cleared to drive company vehicles.

Education

    • High school graduate/GED.

Licensure

    • Valid Indiana driver's license, and driving record that allows for use of company vehicles under corporate policy.

Certification

    • Certification preferred but not required.
