You’ll partner with our lead researcher to define and execute impactful research initiatives. You’ll also collaborate with an amazing group of stakeholders; designers, PM’s, marketers and more. This role will be primarily focused on executing qualitative and mixed-method research, but will also include coaching junior researchers and PM’s on research practices and projects. Research projects will be a mixture of evaluative and generative, with the opportunity to grow into more strategically focused initiatives.

Responsibilities:

    • Lead end-to-end qualitative and mixed method remote research to inform the design and strategy for new products and features, including but not limited to; usability studies, heuristic evaluations, interviews, surveys, focus groups, or any method that helps us answer the most important research questions.
    • Work with stakeholders to develop study findings and synthesise results into actionable story-rich research reports and present findings and clips to stakeholders.
    • Mentor junior researchers; including offering critiques and suggestions for the research plans, pairing with them on projects, offering advice on how to apply research methods more effectively.

Qualifications:

    • Fluent in English (written & verbal).
    • 6+ years professional experience in the User Research field.
    • Able to foster relationships with PM and design teams throughout the company so you can understand and turn their biggest questions into operationalized research efforts.
    • Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies, tools, industry trends, best practices, continually advancing the research process for researchers and people doing research.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong ability with a broad array of qualitative and mixed method research processes and methodologies.

Plus:

    • Understanding of the US market.
    • Chinese language fluency.
    • Start-up experience is a plus, experience with flexible work structure.
    • Understand and apply AI and AI tools into your research workflow.

    • Note: This position is based in Taipei, Taiwan and will often require you to come to the office in person.
