Picket Homes – People & Culture /
Full-time /
Hybrid
Picket is a venture-backed real estate innovation company. Built on proprietary technology and customer-first philosophy, our end-to-end SFR investment platform is transforming the experience of renting a home at every stage of the value chain - from the way investors find, buy, sell, and manage single-family rentals, to the quality, service, and flexibility residents enjoy when they live in them.

We are seeking an exceptional startup human resources generalist, tech recruiter and office administrator to work closely with both our Hanoi team and our US-based leadership, real estate professionals, and engineers to grow our Vietnam engineering team.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a high level of business and ethical judgment, and be both willing and able to make decisions in situations of ambiguity with limited supervision and input. They must also be highly analytical and conversant in technology tools, both HR and otherwise, that help critically assess data to drive decisions.

You must gain trust with diverse constituent populations, both internal to the company and external, through your confidence, competence and consistency. This role is an exemplar and ambassador for Picket's culture, and you must tackle that obligation with pride and enthusiasm.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

    • Two or more years of experience working with overseas business constituents, preferably US or EU, in a professional context.
    • Extreme communicator: intelligent and efficient - in both English and Vietnamese - in written, verbal, video, group (presentation), and chat communications.
    • Able to ingest, organize, prioritize, and manage any and all “human resource” functions including recruiting, benefits, team member relations, total rewards, team functions, company culture, performance reviews, compensation, and more.
    • Efficient explorer and adopter of modern recruiting and IT tools to drive and improve Picket growth processes, and competent in Microsoft Excel (or equivalent).
    • Some background in variable business and administrative contexts managing vendors, negotiations, support, escalations, and similar.
    • Attitude and ownership to handle any local needs including office space, furnishings, supplies, cleaning, maintenance, invoices, legal reviews,  etc.
    • Flexible and adaptable to continuously changing business requirements and environments, with a solutions-oriented mindset to solving any challenges that may arise while doing so with a sense of humor.
    • Quarterly travel to other Picket offices, including the Philippines, Poland, and USA (10-15% total time).
    • Willing to work a schedule that aligns to the US business needs.

SALARY AND BENEFITS

    • Competitive compensation package, including stock options.
    • Open, flexible, and dynamic working environment, with a 60% in-office requirement.
    • Industry standard benefits for the health and well-being of our team members.
    • Career growth in a non-linear environment with opportunities for learning and development.
We do not accept solicitations from third-party recruiters for any positions.

A background check, possibly including a credit report or pre-employment drug screening for some roles, is required for this position. Picket Homes is an equal-opportunity employer that celebrates diversity and we welcome applicants from all backgrounds.

At Picket Homes, we are building something new and different - come build with us.
