As a Pharmacy Intern at PillPack, you will assist with drug preparation and dispensing under the direct supervision of a pharmacist in accordance with state pharmacy regulations.

Core Responsibilities:

    • Assist the pharmacist in filling prescription items, as permitted by the state board of pharmacy
    • Enter patient and order information into the pharmacy system
    • Provide quality customer service to co workers
    • Collection, organization, and evaluation of patient information
    • Receive prescriptions sent electronically from the doctor’s office
    • Receive written prescription or refill requests and verify that information is complete and accurate
    • Performs other tasks assigned

Basic Requirements:

    • Must be currently enrolled, or graduated from a PharmD program from an accredited institution
    • Active Arizona Pharmacy Intern License
    • Ability to work as a member of a team
    • Ability to operate personal computers and/or computer terminals
    • Skilled in performing detailed work
    • Ability to recognize and identify patient medications
    • Ability to work 8 hours per week after training
    • Ability to work 40 hours for the first week of employment

Salary

    • Pharmacy Intern pay is $18.00/hourly
    • The intern role does not include benefits

Shifts

    • Interns can work any shift during business hours as long as they work a minimum of 8 hours per week
    • After training, interns are allowed to work weekends
