Job Description:

PingCAP is seeking a proactive and experienced Field/Event Marketing Specialist to join our APAC team. This role is critical in running and supporting various events and field marketing activities across the ASEAN region, particularly in Singapore, Thailand, and Indonesia. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and managing events that enhance PingCAP's visibility and engagement with targeted audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

- Event Management: Plan and execute all logistics for multiple types of events including trade shows, conferences, roadshows, and webinars tailored for the ASEAN market. This includes venue selection, vendor management, staffing, and on-site coordination.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement event marketing strategies that align with the company’s goals for the ASEAN region. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to ensure strategic alignment and message consistency across all events.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with internal teams (sales, product, marketing) and external partners (agencies, venue managers, service providers) to ensure seamless event execution. Foster relationships with industry groups and other relevant organizations to enhance brand presence and participation in key events.
- Content Creation: Coordinate with the marketing communications team to create compelling event materials such as brochures, banners, and digital content. Ensure that event messaging effectively communicates the value of PingCAP’s products and services.
- Performance Metrics: Track and analyze event performance through metrics and feedback to assess effectiveness and ROI. Use insights to make data-driven decisions for future event strategies.
-Budget Management: Manage budgets for each event, ensuring all activities are cost-effective and deliver maximum return on investment.
- Market Insights: Stay updated with market trends and competitor activities in the ASEAN region to inform event strategies and tactics.

Basic Qualifications:

- 3+ years of experience in field/event marketing, preferably within the tech industry or a related field.
- Proven track record of successfully planning and executing events from conception through to completion.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple events simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Ability to travel frequently within the ASEAN region to oversee event planning and execution.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in the database technology sector or related IT fields is highly advantageous.
Familiarity with digital marketing tools and CRM software to integrate field activities with broader marketing campaigns.
- Proficiency in additional ASEAN languages is a plus.
