Location: Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, AL

PingWind is seeking an experienced Web Designer with 7-10 years of relevant experience in business process analysis, mapping, and re-engineering. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in analyzing and optimizing business processes, with a preference for experience and expertise in Microsoft Power Apps and SharePoint Online. This role involves gathering and analyzing customer requirements, designing workflow automation, and contributing to knowledge management.

Responsibilities

· Coordinate and participate in gathering customer requirements.
· Analyze business processes and their integration with technology, identifying areas for improvement.
· Translate end-user requirements into specifications for SharePoint solution design and development.
· Create visually appealing, user-friendly designs for websites, including layouts, graphics, and user interfaces.
· Design webpages, landing pages, and occasionally, mobile application interfaces that align with the company’s branding and customer needs.
· Ensure responsive design for all devices and screen sizes.
· Develop and enhance UX and UI to improve site interaction and functionality.
· Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and implement design improvements.
· Contribute to internal business processes for SharePoint customizations, including documentation, requirements gathering, testing, and development of best practices.
· Design workflows to automate steps and notifications in business processes.
· Research and analyze new technologies for practical incorporation.
· Suggest and implement continuous business and work process improvements.
· Work closely with web developers, marketing teams, content creators, and other stakeholders to ensure a cohesive and effective design strategy.
· Communicate design ideas using user flows, process flows, site maps, and wireframes.

Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Multimedia, or a related field.
· Secret security clearance
· A minimum of 7-10 years of professional web design experience.
· Security+ certification.
· A strong portfolio of previous work that displays an in-depth knowledge of web design.
· Proficiency in graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma).
· Experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, and site maps.
· Knowledge of front-end development web programming languages such as HTML and CSS, jQuery, and JavaScript is preferred.
· Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
· Strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
· Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
· Time-management skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects.
· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
· Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
· Knowledge of best practices in security, performance, and scalability for SharePoint deployments.

Preferred Qualifications

· Must be able to obtain:
1. PL-400: Microsoft Power Platform Developer
2. PL-600: Microsoft Power Platform Solution Architect Expert
3. PL-500: Microsoft Power Automate RPA Developer
· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
· Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, crucial for working with various stakeholders.
· Project management skills, including experience with Agile methodologies
