Description: PingWind is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Application Systems Analyst/Tester to join our dynamic team. As an Application Systems Analyst/Tester, you will be responsible for analyzing, testing, and ensuring the quality of software applications within our organization.

Location:  Fort Knox centric (REMOTE)
Required Clearance: TS with SCI Eligibility
Required Education: Master’s Degree in relevant field
Required Experience: Ten (10) years of experience as a Application Systems Analyst/Tester

Responsibilities:
·        Have extensive IT experience in the analysis, design, and integration of information systems and commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) and development software.
·        Must be well versed in understanding structured analysis and design methodologies for the translation of systems requirements from business needs with a proven track record. 
·        Must be able to evaluate cost factors and risk.
·        Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand and analyze software requirements.
·        Develop comprehensive test plans, strategies, and test cases based on project requirements and specifications.
·        Execute manual and automated tests to ensure the functionality, performance, security, and usability of software applications.
·        Several years of experience in application systems analysis and testing.

Requirements
·        Experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
·        Identify and report software defects, track issues, and work closely with development teams to facilitate timely resolution.
·        Conduct regression testing to ensure that new features or enhancements do not negatively impact existing functionality.
·        Conduct performance testing to assess and optimize the performance of applications.
·        Work closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and understanding of project requirements.
·        Create and maintain documentation related to testing processes, test cases, and test results.
·        Develop and maintain automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
·        Contribute to the overall quality assurance process by providing insights and recommendations for process improvement.
·        Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
·        Strong communication and collaboration skills.
·        Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
 
Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in technology, Computer Science, or a related field, CISSP, CISM
