Required Clearance: Required to have and maintain a Non-Sensitive / High Risk (Public Trust) security clearance (Tier 4/6c).  
Certifications: Relevant Certifications (security+, CASP, CCISO, CISM, CISSP, CISM, CAP). An AWS Security certification is mandatory.   
Required Education: HS Diploma/GED
Required Experience: Ten (10) + years of technical experience in Information Technology. Seven (7) + years of technical experience with Application Security.   

Position Description:  

PingWind is seeking a Senior Technical Lead for Systems Security who conducts analysis of the systems on the organization's network and verifying that the systems security measures meet all required controls. Non-compliant controls are documented, and mitigation and impacts are developed to ensure risks are identified. Updates all attributes necessary to maintain security compliance.

Responsibilities:
Typical Responsibilities/Tasks:

• Manages and oversees verification of all aspects of cyber security policies for onsite systems. Identifies security risks, threats, and vulnerabilities to systems and networks and implements necessary security measures to nullify those threats. 
• Manages the cybersecurity system POA&Ms (reviewing, and verifying information), developing impact statements and mitigation strategies. 
• Verify that the cybersecurity requirements are met for each step in the risk management framework. Perform an initial assessment of the costs for these risks. 
• Experience with the planning, management, leadership, and coordination of multiple concurrent tasks, each with strict deadlines for a large-scale highly available system that is integrated with business-critical systems contemplated in this PWS. 
• Ability to work independently on system security matters.   
• Ability to perform complex technical tasks.  
• Strong technical understanding of Information Technology systems and services   
• Experience in system security, i.e., boundary documents, knowledge of ALs and inherited controls, etc. 
• Strong technical understanding of the areas of work and many of the technologies contemplated in PWS.
• Strong technical understanding of Information Technology, Identity and Access Management, and AWS GovCloud systems and services for the areas of work contemplated in PWS.   
• Expert knowledge of recent technological advances in computer science and engineering   
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.    


Required Qualifications
