PingWind is seeking a Senior Information Assurance Engineer who is responsible for ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information systems within the organization. This role involves developing and implementing security measures, conducting security assessments, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The Senior Information Assurance Engineer plays a critical role in protecting the organization’s information assets and supporting the overall cybersecurity strategy.

Primary Responsibilities

Typical Responsibilities/Tasks:

· Develop and implement comprehensive information assurance strategies to protect the organization's information systems.
· Design, configure, and manage security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption solutions.
· Ensure security measures are aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
· Conduct risk assessments to identify and evaluate security risks to information systems.
· Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and regulations (e.g., NIST, ISO, GDPR, HIPAA).
· Prepare and submit reports and documentation for audits and inspections.
· Conduct security assessments, including vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits.
· Ensure timely remediation of identified vulnerabilities.
· Lead the response to security incidents, including investigation, containment, and remediation.
· Conduct post-incident analysis to identify root causes and improve security measures.
