Required Education: Bachelor’s in IT or a related technical discipline preferred or commensurate level of experience based on position level

Position Description

Exeter Government Services is seeking a Senior Network Engineer in support of the SOUTHCOM Cyber Information Technology Enterprise Services (SCITES) Contract in Doral FL. This work is in the Network Operations and Security Center (NOSC).

· Provide lifecycle network infrastructure support for the installation, tuning, testing, monitoring, upgrading, patching, break/fix, and management, maintenance, and administration of network infrastructure environment, supporting LAN, WAN, MAN, or CAN across the enterprise

· Configure routers and switches, and firewalls for LAN and WAN systems and VPN concentrators with appropriate network engineering and communications protocols

· Implement, secure and monitor intrusion detection systems, intrusion prevention systems and network security devices to Command and DISA standards

· Implement DISA STIGs on switches and router devices to stay in compliance with directives

· Follows designated standards and adheres to processes and polices

· Support the development of integration and user acceptance test plans; execute test conduct and develop/provide test reports

· Perform installation actions, inclusive of the implementation of all DoD published hardware and software security requirements, to move designed systems into production

· Minimum Secret clearance upon start and be eligible for TS/SCI clearance

· DoD 8570 IAT II (e.g., Security + CE)

· Operating System Computing Environment Certification (CCNA, CCNP or CCIE preferred)

· BA/BS degree in Information Technology or related field or commensurate level of experience based on position level

· Minimum five (5) years of Network Engineering experience

· Shift work is required to support real-world or contingency operations

· CCNP and/or CCNP Security

· VMWare Certified Professional – Network Virtualization (VCP-NV)
