Description

Pingwind is seeking a Business Analyst with a strong track record of delivering high-caliber results with high client satisfaction. The successful candidate must be energetic, communicative, intelligent, passionate, and motivated. The Business Analyst will act on behalf of business stakeholders, overseeing and grooming a combined prioritized backlog for multiple agile scrum development teams.  As such, they must develop an in‐depth understanding of the customer’s business processes, solutions, user profiles, objectives, expectations, and priorities and communicate those topics to the development teams in the form of user stories.  The successful candidate will have experience in eliciting requirements, identifying process improvements, and developing business process flows and mockups.  Superior communication and collaboration skills are essential to this role.  Expertise in Jira is required.

Responsibilities

.Be an advocate for our VA customer stakeholders and the ultimate beneficiaries of our solution ‐  our Nation’s Veterans
· Own the vision and roadmap of the solution, and be a key player in release planning with the team · Maintain the product backlog, with detailed, actionable, and prioritized epics, features, and user stories and acceptance criteria
· Collaborate with the development team to convey goals, answer questions, and accept completed user stories
· Demonstrate completed user stories and increments to business stakeholders
· Assist in the decision of when to deploy new functionality to production
· Assist with business cases
 · Elicit, translate, simplify, analyze, manage, organize, and communicate requirements
· Develop presentations and project documents
· Collaborate with project leadership and client stake holders to deliver the project on time, with high quality, and in alignment with the customer’s expectations
· Interact effectively and professionally with clients, stakeholders, partners, sub‐contractors, and vendors  
· Develop a keen understanding of program goals and requirements and develop a vision to both meet the customer’s current needs, and for evolution of the program to meet changing client needs · Anticipate project challenges and risk scenarios and execute proactive mitigation strategies to ensure optimal results
· Escalate key issues and recommend solutions to project and client leadership
· Other duties as assigned by project leadership

Requirements

-5 years of relevant experience
· Bachelor's Degree in a business discipline
· 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education
· Experience in the analysis of IT business and information environment, activities, and events
· Exceptional experience in finding trends, errors and reviewing data with report writing skills
· Ability to pass a background check for Tier 2 position of trust


Additional Minimum Qualifications

-Demonstrated success eliciting requirements, identifying business process improvements, and
developing an overall solution vision and roadmap
- Experience in business analysis and working with technical teams
-Strong interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills to effectively interact with partners
and clients
- Experience working in an agile scrum solution development environment
-Experience in creating business process flows, wireframes, and/or mockups using modeling tools
such as Visio
-Ability to demonstrate solution features to stakeholders, share knowledge, and provide tool and
process guidance
- Strong creative, analytical, and problem solving and trouble‐shootng skills
-Strong ability to foster collaborative work in dynamic team environment
-Excellent communication, problem‐solving, and customer service skills
-Proficiency with MS Office Suite
-Passionate and motivated self‐starter that excels in a dynamic, fast‐paced environment
requiring only limited supervision
-A team player and a consistent, dependable performer, with an excellent work ethic, flexible
“can‐do” attitude, and a results‐driven commitment to success
-Must have excellent writing and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi‐task, with strong delegation and follow
through
-Strong prioritization skills, for both individual and teamwork
- Able to manage multiple compelling deadlines
-Must be capable of understanding issues and working towards resolutiom
- Strong creative, analytical, customer service, problem solving, and trouble‐shooting skills
-US Citizen

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience working in the Federal Government or with the Department of Veterans Affairs
· Experience working with contact center infrastructures
· Knowledge of DevSecOps and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies
· Demonstrated experience working with a geographically dispersed project team
· AcƟve clearance for Public Trust Position with access to VA systems, PIV, and GFE
