Pipedrive is looking for a Privacy Project Manager to manage a critical support function from within the Privacy team reporting directly to Pipedrive’s Data Protection Officer.

In this role, you will lead our mapping of processing activities efforts and partner with product, business, and legal teams across the organization to develop deep insights into the mechanics of how teams process personal data. You will break down complex data protection problems into steps that inform the organization’s data flows, assets, purposes and the legal basis behind each activity we do.

As a Privacy Project Manager, your goal will be to improve Pipedrive’s compliance by ensuring we fulfill our obligations, mitigate risks and properly identify and document processing activities in accordance with regulation. Additionally, you will work closely with the Information Security and Compliance teams to implement/enhance Pipedrive’s privacy program.

What you’ll do:

    • Lead, design and document an information audit and data-mapping exercise in a granular and meaningful way for all departments at Pipedrive
    • Meet directly with key business functions and negotiate change across the organization
    • Monitor project progress, problem-solving and managing risks
    • Work closely with product managers and other project leads to learn about new products and proposed processing activities, mitigate risk and drive consensus-based solutions
    • Develop and maintain an internal audit process for keeping processing activities accurate and up to date
    • Thoroughly document decisions taken on risks for the purposes of accountability and governance, and assist in the monitoring of ongoing compliance

You should have:

    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
    • Excellent organizational, writing and interpersonal skills. The candidate should be comfortable attending meetings, interviewing senior management and presenting their findings.
    • Experience in Data Protection is recommended, but not required
    • The candidate should have hands-on experience in project management, excellent communication, problem-solving and project management skills to coordinate and manage projects concurrently from inception to execution:
    • Strong analytical and investigative skills
    • Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
    • Excellent communication, collaboration, listening, presentation and writing skills
