As the Manager of Enterprise Systems, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the integration, development, and maintenance of business systems within the organization. You will lead a team responsible for optimizing technology solutions to enhance operational efficiency, streamline processes, and support strategic objectives. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and business acumen to effectively align technology initiatives with organizational goals.

Responsibilities

    • Leadership and Team Management:
    • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to a team of business systems analysts and developers
    • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team, encouraging innovation and continuous improvement
    • Allocate resources effectively to ensure timely delivery of projects and support services
    • Own communication for technical delivery and status of Enterprise Systems solutions with senior leadership

    • Strategic Planning:
    • Collaborate with senior management and departmental heads to understand business requirements and align technology initiatives with organizational goals
    • Develop and implement a strategic roadmap for business systems, prioritizing projects based on business impact and resource availability
    • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage

    • Systems Integration and Development:
    • Oversee the design, development, and implementation of business systems, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure and applications
    • Evaluate third-party solutions and vendors, negotiating contracts and licensing agreements as needed
    • Lead cross-functional teams in the customization and configuration of enterprise software platforms to meet specific business needs
    • Manage yearly budgeting and procurement of Enterprise Systems software, including managing evaluation of new tools and licensing
    • Manage software vendor relationships and communication, and act as focal point for conversations with software vendors

    • Process Optimization:
    • Analyze current business processes and identify opportunities for automation, efficiency improvements, and cost reduction
    • Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, define workflows, and map out system enhancements or new implementation
    • Define and enforce standardization of development and support processes and platforms for Enterprise Systems tools

    • Risk Management and Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, and data security protocols
    • Establish robust controls and monitoring mechanisms to mitigate risks associated with system failures, data breaches, or unauthorized access
    • Conduct regular audits and assessments to assess the effectiveness of internal controls and recommend corrective actions as needed
    • User Training and Support:Develop training materials and conduct workshops to educate end-users on system functionalities, features, and best practices
    • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance to resolve user issues and inquiries in a timely manner
    • Foster a user-centric approach to system design and development, incorporating feedback and suggestions from stakeholders to enhance usability and adoption

    • Performance Measurement and Reporting:
    • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of business systems
    • Generate regular reports and dashboards to track project progress, system uptime, user satisfaction, and other relevant metrics
    • Present findings and recommendations to senior management, highlighting achievements, areas for improvement, and future opportunities

Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
    • 5+ years of experience managing enterprise systems
    • 5+ years of experience with ERP implementations in a manufacturing environment
    • 7+ years of experience in an ERP business system analyst role
    • Experience in functional areas within ERP, including sales order processing, purchasing, inventory, jobs, shipping and logistics, receiving, and financeExperience in ERP integrations with PLM, PDM, and MES
    • Experience with other enterprise applications such as PLM, QMS and CRM
    • Strong understanding of production concepts such as: quality assurance, rework, scrap, backflush, routings, and how they affect an ERP application

Bonus Qualifications

    • Experience configuring and customizing Kinetic (Epicor) ERP
    • Experience in Aerospace Industry
    • Experience with Dassault 3DEXPERIENCE (CATIA, ENOVIA, DELMIA)
