Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repairs on Pivotal aircraft and products including inspections, structural repairs, component replacements on Pivotal products
- Perform functional tests and system verifications post maintenance to ensure airworthiness and conformity to regulatory and Pivotal engineering requirements
- Use diagnostic software tools to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, software faults
- Travel to events and customer sites as needed for maintenance support and field repairs
- Provide remote support for customer self-repairs, including video calls, guided troubleshooting, and real-time repair verification
- Document repairs, customer interactions and service reports for continuous improvement
- Support cross-functional failure analysis and root cause identification
- Develop detailed work packages for maintenance and repair including step-by-step instructions, required tools and parts, estimated repair times and testing procedures
Qualification
- A&P License
- 5+ years of experience in aircraft maintenance
- Strong communication skills and ability to interface with customers, provide clear repair instructions and document maintenance work
- Flexibility to travel to Pivotal events and customer sites
- Desired: experience servicing electronics in controlled environments. Experience with electrical debugging, handling, swapping and repairing PCBAs. Experience with handling installing and testing cable harnesses
Bonus Qualification
- Experience developing maintenance procedures based on FAR Part 43
- Prior experience working as a licensed mechanic at a Repair Station or FBO
- Prior experience in customer service
$41.84 - $53.95 an hour
Applicants must be eligible for employment in the United States and willing to work onsite at our HQ office in Palo Alto, CA.
