Leverage your backend engineering experience to help build out our core platform, extensively using Golang and Spring Boot containerized microservices.

In this role you will:

    • Lead the design and implementation of internal and customer-facing APIs
    • Build containerized microservices to be deployed within Kubernetes hosted in AWS
    • Use Golang to write both GraphQL and RESTful API’s as well as background jobs
    • Work with databases including Postgres, ElasticSearch and Redis
    • Mentor junior developers

Desired background:

    • 5-10 years of development experience in a language like Golang, Ruby, Python or Java
    • Worked in an Agile environment and used TDD / BDD methodologies
    • Built RESTful APIs for client and server-side applications, with GraphQL and gRPC experience a bonus
    • Comfortable working with cloud services provided by AWS, Google and Azure
    • Hands on experience working with both SQL and NoSQL types of database
    • Use of modern JS tooling and frameworks like Node / React / Redux a plus
