One of the top Fashion Showrooms is seeking an experienced Account Executive. At Place, we're a team of highly motivated and driven entrepreneurs who specialize in fashion. Our locations span across the nation with offices in Los Angeles, New York and Dallas.

As a representative of Place Showroom, the ideal candidate will have established relationships with specialty & multi-door specialty accounts. This is a dynamic position and will provide the candidate with the opportunity to work with amazing brands. The candidate should be a quick learner, self-starter, dependable, and proactive with the ability to excel under pressure.

The candidate shall participate in all major trade shows and markets along the East Coast, as well as service accounts through travel & road work in the territory. The candidate will participate in product knowledge seminars with Place's brands and on occasion conduct product knowledge seminars at our retailers. As an Account Executive, the position focuses on building strategies to expand the candidate's sales through the assigned territory, assisting the brand and clients with their inventory and sales, and working in tandem with a supportive and innovative team.
    
Primary Duties:
contemporary & young contemporary wholesale sales
Participate in product knowledge seminars with designers
Travel to trade shows and throughout assigned territory
Identifying new business opportunities
Develop strategies to maintain and increase the business

Position Requirements

    • 3+ years experience in wholesale sales in a related industry (apparel, accessories)
    • Relationships with specialty accounts on the east coast
    • Ability to open new accounts, cold call
    • Ability to develop strategies to maintain and increase the business
    • Proficiency in MS Office Products
