As a representative of Place Showroom, the ideal candidate will have established relationships with specialty accounts throughout the territory. This is a dynamic position and will provide the candidate with the opportunity to work with amazing brands. The candidate should be a quick learner, self-starter, dependable, and proactive with the ability to excel under pressure.

The candidate shall participate in all major trade shows and markets along the South West, as well as service accounts through travel & road work in the territory. As Specialty Account Executive, the position focuses on building strategies to expand the candidate's sales through the assigned territory, assisting the brand and clients with their inventory and sales, and working in tandem with a supportive and innovative team.

Primary Duties:

    • Contemporary & young contemporary wholesale sales
    • Participate in product knowledge seminars with designers
    • Travel to trade shows and throughout assigned territory
    • Identifying new business opportunities
    • Develop strategies to maintain and increase the business
    • Contemporary & young contemporary wholesale sales

    • Identifying new business opportunities
    • 3+ years experience in wholesale sales in a related industry (apparel, accessories)
    • Relationships with specialty accounts on the east coast
    • Ability to open new accounts, cold call
    • Ability to develop strategies to maintain and increase the business
    • Proficiency in MS Office Products

Requirements:

    • Exceptional communication skills and sales-driven focus
    • 2+ years Women's wholesale sales experience
    • Sound knowledge of current industry and market trends
    • Working understanding of:  Trend forecasting and analysis, Product development and design, Brand development, Merchandising (Fashion and Visual), Buying, Planning
    • Keen analytical skills; Excel proficiency a plus
