The Product Platform group is dedicated to providing strategic building blocks to accelerate Plaid’s product development. Think of this group as Plaid’s Plaid. It consists of teams that are responsible for:

- Owning all of Plaid’s key services, making them reliable and highly productive to work with.
- Architecting Plaid’s largest databases, highest throughput services, data ingestion and post-ingestion processing pipeline.
- Designing the interfaces, data models and pipelines that provide Plaid’s product teams access to high-quality data on which they can build insights for customers.

You will work closely with a highly iterative, cross-functional team to understand product requirements to build Plaid’s next-generation products, as well as the interfaces and data models that power these products. You will own and lead projects, step up as a trusted member of the team’s oncall rotation, advocate for technical and process changes, and follow best practices to increase overall system reliability.

Qualifications

    • 3+ years of industry experience
    • Strong programming skills with the interest and ability to work across the stack.
    • Proven track record of shipping successful projects
    • Self-motivated with a willingness to take ownership of tasks.
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
    • [Nice to have] Experience with Golang, Typescript, and Python
$143,640 - $197,640 a year
Target base Salary for this role is $143,640 - $197,640 per year. Additional compensation in the form(s) of equity and/or commission are dependent on the position offered. Plaid provides a comprehensive benefit plan, including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). Pay is based on factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience and skillset, and location.
