Plaid’s UK & Europe team works with some of the biggest and most exciting fintechs, including Kraken, Youlend, Moneybox and Shares; and globally some of the world's largest companies including Microsoft, Tesla and Google. We are looking for an Enterprise Account Executive to join our team in London. In this position, you will be part of the team whose mission is to expand new business in the UK and Europe, working with global customers coming into Europe and companies based in Europe. You will be responsible for full-stack commercial activities (outbound/inbound, evaluation, negotiation, closing) as well as working with cross-functional teams to help drive the product roadmap and market positioning for Plaid.

This role is right for you if you are a self-starter who can wear multiple hats, loves growing new business, and is passionate about fintech. This role is a great opportunity to be part of the foundational team in expanding Plaid’s global ambitions across the UK and Europe and beyond, as well as to be foundational to shaping Plaid's Enterprise sales motions in Europe.

Responsibilities

    • You will join our Sales team as an Enterprise Account Executive and will be responsible for generating and closing new customers across the UK & Europe, focusing on companies with over 250+ employees
    • You’ll be on the cutting edge of fintech & financial services, searching and attending events and conferences
    • You are comfortable selling a technical product and working cross functionally with other partners in the business, such as Product
    • You will be providing input into our product roadmap and sharing customer feedback
    • You will help us shape the culture of our company and specifically the team in Europe

Qualifications

    • 7+ years in a B2B sales experience in a SaaS environment with 3+years explicit experience selling to Enterprise-sized customers
    • Passion for fintech and financial services
    • Experience or interest in learning about open banking and payments
    • Strong communication and presentation skills
    • Familiarity with the UK and EU fintech market
    • Fluency in German or French (in addition to English) a plus
