The PMM team drives the ideation, research and testing for new products. We then launch them to broad awareness among our target customer personas, watching their usage, affirming and denying our key hypotheses with data. We draft growth and get well plans to drive adoption. The PMM team’s mission is to deliver the right product, to the right audience by crafting the right message, and telling our customer through the right channel.

In this role, you will have your ear to the market, being the single most authoritative voice on industry trends and needs of banks and wealth management businesses in the US. You will translate that insight into product plans and recommendations for our teams to turn into tests and mature into full products. You will guide these products during their nascency, working with customers and partners to make sure they’re solving issues customers care about and correcting our team’s course where necessary. You will craft positioning and narratives that will be taken to market via the go-to-market strategy you author resulting in high quality sales pipeline. You will do all of this as a servant leader and a trusted partner to sales, channel and growth marketing, strategic partnerships and business development.

Responsibilities

    • Be a business owner, reporting out on the state of our business, including our ACV, ARR and adoption
    • Accelerate customer acquisition through personalized campaigns driving cross-sell and upsell plans, identifying and overcoming barriers to sales, all in partnership with our demand gen and sales teams 
    • Regularly commission thoughtful research that is synthesized into product recommendations that are included into our roadmap
    • Propose, design and launch tests that drive engagement, conversion, retention and NPS to identify signs of product market fit
    • Collaborate effectively across design, account management, product marketing and content teams to create a cohesive customer experience

Qualifications

    • 8+ years in product marketing, or marketing roles
    • 3-5+ years in banking or wealth or applicable
    • Deep understanding of B2B economics such as LTV, CAC, payback period, MQL to SQL
    • Highly analytical – comfortable working with data, evaluating ROI, reviewing dashboards, clearly scoping data asks to technical counterparts, etc. 
    • Thoughtful strategic thinker with a bias for action and a creative mind; comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment with a high degree of ambiguity
    • Nice to have: Product management, MBA, consulting experience
    • Nice to have: Experience driving to and through partner revenue
$154,440 - $250,560 a year
Target base salary for this role is between $154,400 and $250,560 per year. Additional compensation in the form(s) of equity and/or commission are dependent on the position offered. Plaid provides a comprehensive benefit plan, including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). Pay is based on factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience and skillset, and location.
