As part of our continuous growth, we are looking for a passionate and talented Business Development Manager to join our dynamic Digital team.
 
The Role
 
PI Digital is seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Manager to win new business and grow our existing Digital business. This role will work closely with the GM of Digital in proactively pursuing opportunities with new and identified accounts, developing compelling pitch and proposals to articulate business benefit, support the existing business development team on cross business unit opportunities and independently taking lead in business development efforts in the US for the Digital business unit.

The Accountabilities

    • Responsible for actively identifying, driving and closing new business opportunities that delivering on PI Digital annual revenue targets.
    • Responsible for leading and driving the end-to-end sales process for PI Digital (i.e., client meetings; driving technical responses; pricing and estimations; proposals; negotiating and securing conversion to delivery).
    • Identifying, evaluating and leading the growth of a pipeline of business opportunities.
    • Develop pitches to win new business, prepares and conduct presentations. 
    • Ensure product teams are effectively briefed on all aspects of the proposal including customer sensitivities, account strategies and client operational and commercial need. 
    • Lead negotiations on terms of business and pricing with prospective and existing clients to achieve revenue and profit growth targets.
    • Lead and secure strategic partnership initiatives with businesses that will enable ongoing opportunities with Design and Manufacturing.

The Typical Experiences

    • 10+ years Business Development experience in various industries such as in the medtech, diagnostics, and life sciences, managing the end to end sale process.
    • Strong understanding of the Digital Health and/or Medical Device markets and technologies, with a track record of securing and delivering consulting services to clients in these markets. 
    • Understanding of software development processes to develop digital and connectivity products.
    • Experience in influencing and leading in order to drive PI and client outcomes across a broad range of stakeholders.
    • Bachelor’s degree in relevant technical field (e.g. software engineering, computer science).

Job Type and Location

    • Full-Time
    • Flexible remote and in-office work schedule depending on business and client needs 
    • Must be able to travel regularly for client projects, potentially working at client sites for extended periods within the USA, up to 30%
