As a Case Management Registered Nurse you will have the opportunity to provide professional and comprehensive telephonic nursing assessment, evaluation, education and advice to Planned Parenthood patients.
This exciting opportunity will allow you to develop a management plan that provides the best available resources to meet ongoing patient needs. In addition, you will also provide nursing triage services and on-call services as needed.
The ideal candidate will be able to communicate effectively with patients and co-workers of all backgrounds and willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, some Saturdays, and participate in on-call duty. The Affiliate establishes compensation supported by a position description that identifies competencies, duties, responsibilities and qualifications. The hiring rate for the position is: $40-50/hour (based on years of experience)
In this role, you'll get to:
- Provide professional nursing triage services and health advice to patients over the phone.
- Manage lab/imaging results, referrals, and other patient follow-ups, such as prescription refills and prior authorizations.
- Support team’s adherence to quality timelines for lab results and calls by providing patient-centered care while maintaining efficiency.
- Maintain knowledge and understanding of current agency and department polices, protocols, procedures and best practices.
What we're looking for:
- Registered Nurse with current California License
- 1 year experience in Women’s Healthcare, Triage, ER/ED or Home Health
- Ability to work rotating Saturdays
- Ability to participate in “on-call” responsibilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual in English/Spanish
- Experience in Case Management and telephonic triage
