PPPSW's Community and Government Relations department is seeking passionate and dedicated volunteers to promote Planned Parenthood's services to the community at various events and health fairs. Typically, volunteers will help with canvassing neighborhoods to educate the community about their local Planned Parenthood health center, "table" at health fairs, and distribute condoms and information to colleges and communities. Flexible hours available to accommodate almost any schedule. 6 month commitment requested. Phone interview, background check and references checks may be conducted.

Qualifications/Desired Skills:

    • Must be passionate about reproductive/sexual health care
    • Experience working with diverse communities
    • Bilingual language skills are a plus
    • Comfortable talking to people about reproductive health issues
    • Must be supportive of all Planned Parenthood services and programs
    • Must be a team-player
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills preferred
    • Dependable and have reliable transportation
    • Able to commit to at least 6 months
    • Desire to have fun and meet new people!
