What's the role? 

We are seeking an energetic and proactive individual to join our team as a Commercial Manager, responsible for assisting in the management and continuous improvement of Plenti’s partner lending programs. The successful candidate will play a critical role in delivering high-quality service for Plenti’s key partnership programs through a mix of both client facing and internal responsibilities
 
The Commercial Manager role sits at the centre of a new and exciting business unit at Plenti, presenting significant scope for professional development and growth as our partner lending programs scale. This role offers a broad range of responsibilities spanning internal and external relationship management through to data analysis and project management and will support in driving growth and performance of a key part of our business. 
 
Reporting to the Head of Partnerships, this role is suitable for a person who has experience project managing end-to-end commercial projects or has industry experience in consumer finance working on lending products. 

What will you be doing? 

• Act as a key point of contact for lending program partners across commercial and operational requirements, and ensure communication between Plenti and its partners is highly effective, and drive the day-to-day activities of our partner lending programs
• Assist in developing Plenti’s strategic partnership plans and play a role in commercial negotiations for new partner and product development 
• Project management and delivery - define project timelines, chair meetings, ensure relevant project stakeholders are accountable for their area of delivery, address blockers and challenges 
• Work with cross-functional teams to identify growth opportunities within partner lending programs and products, including working closely with our product teams to define and prioritise development roadmaps
• Prepare clear and informative analysis and presentations for partners and senior Plenti management to drive new business initiatives and manage the execution of joint projects
• Oversee the measurement and reporting of partnership performance metrics and service level agreements
• Maintain strong internal stakeholder relationships within Plenti to ensure we can deliver on our commitments to our partners


What will make you right for the role? 
• At least 3-5 years experience in a financial or professional services business, preferably with experience in banking, consulting or a high growth startup environment 
• Strong project management, time management and organisational skills 
• Strong and confident written communicator and presenter
• Strong critical thinking skills 
• A strong academic background with a desire to develop new skills 
• Familiarity with financial modeling, forecasting and data analysis
• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, ability to develop and manage relationships across a range of disciplines
• Commercial management experience or working knowledge of lending products and experience in a financial services business is a plus
