About the Role -
The Cloud Architect will be responsible for the design and management of our cloud infrastructure. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud solutions that align with organizational goals. As a key contributor, you will play a pivotal role in driving innovation, ensuring reliability, and empowering teams to make informed decisions
Key Responsibilities
Design and manage cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability and reliability
Provide guidance on cloud solution design and best practices to teams
Collaborate with technology and business teams to gather and understand requirements
Create cloud solutions that balance reliability, cost, and usability
Implement and oversee cloud security practices and designs
Select and manage vendors as appropriate for cloud services and solutions
Implement and manage disaster recovery strategies
Ensure compliance with industry standards and organizational policies
Perform detailed security assessments of projects, including software, infrastructure, and networks
Participate in architecture discussions to ensure alignment with organizational goals and standards
Support and empower teams to make informed decisions
Key Qualifications
Proficiency in AWS services and cloud architecture
Strong knowledge of networking concepts, including firewalls, DNS and routing
Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools and methodologies
Advanced scripting and automation skills using PowerShell and Python Expertise in Kubernetes and container orchestration
