Who is Plenti?

Plenti is a fintech lender, providing faster, fairer loans by leveraging its smart technology. Plenti is a dynamic and innovative business that is growing strongly. By continuing to deliver better customer experiences, Plenti is taking market share from incumbent players in the personal lending, renewable energy, and automotive finance markets.

We are a fast moving and ambitious business that seeks to recruit smart and capable people, who can take ownership of their role to help the business thrive. With over 200 people based in Australia, Plenti is small enough so everyone can make a difference in their role, but we have very big ambitions as a team, as we go about building Australia’s best lender.
Plenti is a founder led business that launched in 2014 and is now listed on the ASX, with annual revenue of over $200 million and a loan portfolio of over $2 billion.

What's the opportunity?

As a key part of Plenti’s Broker Personal Lending team, the Relationship Manager (RM) is responsible for managing a portfolio of brokers, with emphasis on driving loan volumes, increasing broker engagement, and ensuring an exceptional broker experience.

This role focuses on fostering strong relationships with existing accounts to achieve business growth, whilst working closely with your state Business Development Manager (BDM) to activate new brokers.

Whilst experience in the finance sector is preferred, it is not essential. Success in this role requires a proven track record of delivering results, meeting KPIs, and an enthusiasm for winning business and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast paced sales environment.

This role is based full time from our Sydney office in Martin Place with opportunity to move to hybrid working after a period of time.

Deliver on sales activity expectations and accurately record all activity in CRM systems.
Develop tailored and effective sales strategies to ensure effective coverage of your portfolio and achieve loan origination and activity targets.
Build strong relationships with your state BDM to provide unrivalled support to your shared portfolio.
Represent Plenti professionally, establishing full confidence and trust among brokers and business partners.

What will make you successful in this role?
1+ years' experience in sales or finance account management, preferably in third-party intermediated channels or directly with finance brokers.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs
Ability to work independently while also integrating effectively into a team.
Some knowledge of financial lending products and/or credit risk underwriting is advantageous.
Ability to build and maintain high value relationships.
Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and engage a diverse range of stakeholders
Excellent time management and self-organisation skills.
Strong problem-solving skills to address and overcome objections.
A "hunting" mindset with the ability to self-start and independently drive leads.
