What's the opportunity?
 
As a business leader responsible for growing our consumer finance offering in the New South Wales market, you are a motivated, self-starter with a desire to succeed in a sales orientated environment. Leveraging our existing broker partnerships and proactively identifying new opportunities, you’ll bring a highly commercial and strategic approach to complement your sales and relationship management expertise. You thrive on autonomy, and have leadership ability, initiative, and commercial judgement to succeed in a highly entrepreneurial environment.
 
About you…
 
This role is suitable for a person who has current broker relationships in NSW and is passionate about building and maintaining broker relationships, you will need to understand the brokers, and the local market.  This role will be responsible for a mix of asset finance & mortgage brokers. Passion for diversity, hunger to win new business and helping brokers grow their business, will see you thrive in this role.
 
We want to remove any preconceived perceptions about personal loans in the broker industry. Every year 1000’s of brokers nationwide are helping their clients achieve their financial goals with personal loans, and we need our NSW BDM to be excited by this and grow the volumes from the extensive network of brokers. 
 
The person we are looking for will have:
 
•At least 3 years BDM experience in sales/ finance account management preferably in third party intermediated channels within NSW
•A desire to grow the chosen territory by utilising your experience and current network
•Proven track record of meeting your sales and growth targets within the broker industry.
•Proven execution of broker development strategies that are underpinned by your success in meeting targets.
•Strong knowledge of lending products and credit risk underwriting.
•A “hunting” mindset with the ability to self-start and drive leads independently
•Ability to grasp issues and find appropriate solutions to objections, often pre-emptively.
•A genuine willingness and desire to represent Plenti with passion and energy.
•Exceptional time management and self-organisation skills.
•Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with people at all levels.
