The Security Administrator is a key member of our Technology team, responsible for safeguarding Plenti's information assets and systems against cyber threats, unauthorized access, and data breaches.

This role will provide an exciting opportunity to work in a fast pace, dynamic environment where your expertise will contribute to the enhancement and maintenance of our security systems and measures, monitor security systems, respond to incidents, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements!!

This role involves a blend of technical acumen, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of security policies and procedures to ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of data.

What will you be doing?

•Implement and manage security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks, and information.
•Identify, monitor, and define the requirements of the overall security of the system.
•Monitor network traffic for unusual activity and analyse security alerts to identify and counteract threats.
•Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
•Develop and maintain the company’s disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.
•Ensure that the organisation’s data and infrastructure are protected by enabling the appropriate security controls.
•Participate in the change management process, ensuring that security measures are integrated.
•Provide security awareness training to all employees to ensure consistent adherence to policies and procedures.
•Manage and configure security tools such as firewalls, antivirus software, patch management systems, etc.
•Stay current on IT security trends and news, including awareness of new or revised security solutions, improved security processes, and the development of new attacks and threat vectors.
•Recommend security enhancements and purchases.

About you..

•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
•Minimum of 3 years of experience in an IT security role.
•Ability to automate processes through a scripting language such as PowerShell, Bash, Python or others
•Strong understanding of firewalls, VPNs, data loss prevention, IDS/IPS, web proxy, and security audits.
•Experience with network security and networking technologies and with system, security, and network monitoring tools.
•Thorough understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols.
•Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
•Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate well across teams
