Job Overview:
We are looking for a smart and proactive Technical Recruiter to join our team in Bangalore. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, assessing, and hiring top technical talent. You must have a deep understanding of tech skills and the technical hiring ecosystem, with the ability to engage in technical conversations with candidates and evaluate their core competencies. Strong stakeholder management skills are essential, as you will work closely with hiring managers and technical teams across the organization.
This is a Bangalore based, working from Office role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively source, attract and engage top-tier technical candidates across various domains (Engineering, AI etc.).
- Utilize a variety of channels (job portals, social media, networking, and referrals) to build a strong talent pipeline.
- Engage in technical conversations with candidates to assess their understanding of key technologies and methodologies.
- Validate candidates’ skills through initial screening calls, technical interviews, and collaboration with technical teams.
- Develop and maintain technical evaluation criteria and guidelines in alignment with the needs of Plivo.
- Collaborate closely with hiring managers and senior leadership to understand role requirements.
- Manage candidate expectations and ensure a smooth and engaging recruitment process.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to update on recruitment progress and challenges.
- Maintain accurate recruitment records and provide regular reports on hiring metrics, challenges, and successes.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in the tech industry, including emerging skills, tools, and competitive hiring practices.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in technical recruitment, preferably hiring for tech or startup ecosystem.
- Experience sourcing/hiring for various technical roles (backend, frontend, fullstack, AI, etc.).
- Good understanding of core technical skills, frameworks, and programming languages relevant to our hiring needs.
- Ability to engage in technical conversations and assess candidates on basic technical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and passion for recruitment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple roles simultaneously.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment tools.
