We are seeking a Product Manager, RCM & Operations, to join our team at Plume. Your primary role will be to oversee the development and management of products to ensure they meet the needs of patients, members, providers, and Plume’s strategic goals. You must also be an effective communicator of ideas, roadmaps, priorities, and project statuses and be able to juggle a range of stakeholders. The ideal candidate will help us create the best user experience possible for our website application and our end-users.

At Plume, Product finds itself at the intersection of various data telemetry. Product Manager responsibilities include product strategy development, market and user research, product lifecycle management, regulatory compliance and security, user experience and accessibility, performance measurement and optimization, and stakeholder management. 

To be successful in this role, you should be able to leverage your expertise to ensure our diverse audience sees themselves in our product and service offerings. Your success hinges on your ability to create solutions that impactfully address our clients’ needs, grow our customer base, and scale.

Responsibilites

    • Define and articulate the vision and strategy for products, aligning with the broader objectives of the healthcare organization.
    • Significant automation through the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) process to scale claims, reimbursements and collections volume without scaling personnel resources
    • Identify new opportunities for product development based on market research, healthcare trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements.
    • Stay informed about the competitive landscape and regulatory environment to ensure the product remains competitive and compliant.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, clinical, legal, marketing, community/membership, and operations to guide the product from conception through launch and into improvement phases.
    • Prioritize product features and enhancements based on user feedback, quantitative data analysis, business impact, and technical feasibility.
    • Ensure that products comply with healthcare regulations and adhere to best practices in patient data privacy and security.
    • Oversee the design of user-friendly and accessible interfaces for various user groups, including patients with diverse health conditions and healthcare providers with different technical proficiencies.
    • Incorporate user feedback and usability testing findings into product design and development processes.
    • Define KPIs for the product and monitor these metrics to evaluate success, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions.
    • Optimize the product based on analytics, user feedback, and operational performance data.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding the product, ensuring clear communication of product features, benefits, and updates.
    • Engage with providers, members, and payers to gather insights and build relationships that support product adoption and satisfaction.

Must Haves

    • Minimum - 5+ years of industry experience as a Product Manager; healthcare experience a must
    • Preferred - Masters degree in human-computer interaction, computer science, Healthcare, or a related technical field or commensurate work experience within healthcare claims and billing space 
    • Applies lean management principles, agile methodologies, and exhibits framework thinking with deeper analysis
    • Able to effectively communicate complex technical topics to a non-technical audience
    • Working knowledge of UX/UI design principles
    • Experience with user testing and usability analysis
    • Able to analyze and synthesize information from a variety of sources
    • Demonstrated success leading or coordinating development and delivery of products or projects for cross-functional teams.
    • Demonstrated success establishing trust and confidence and collaborating with staff, coworkers, stakeholders, and leadership within a complex organization.
    • Great time-management skills; including effective prioritization skills
    • Able to manage multiple concurrent activities or dynamic projects and able to adjust when needed
    • Comfortable with productivity tools like G Suite, Looker, and JIRA
$119,000 - $145,750 a year
