The Partnerships and Access Program Manager reports to the Sr. Manager of Community and Wellness.  As a program manager, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring programs that improve affordability and reduce barriers to utilization of gender affirming services. Additional responsibilities include raising community awareness of clinical and non-clinical services, addressing TGNC barriers through community based partnerships,  asset and content creation, and monitoring and evaluation. The program manager improves and evolves assigned programs based on feedback from our members and opportunities for efficiency. 

Program Managers serve as strong partners to their team in navigating complex challenges and excel at promoting a supportive, inclusive, and high performance working environment. Their contributions are paramount to the success of Plume programs and a positive member experience.

As a Programs Manager, you will:
• Manage the day-to-day of existing programs and partnerships (40%)
• Develop new strategic partnerships (25%)
• Plan and execute community outreach (15%)
• Project management (15%)
• Forecasting, reporting, and monitoring (5%)

The Role:
Empower and support our members' access to gender affirming care and services in addition to cultivating and maintaining relationships among community and business partners to effectively provide Plume members with the support they need in navigating their gender journey and achieving improved health and wellness outcomes.

Responsibilities:

    • Manage and nurture existing partner relationships
    • Identify opportunities and develop relationships through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
    • Negotiate and close partnership deals in accordance with Plumes contract guidelines and policies
    • Create a systematic, scalable, strategic, and process-driven model for community outreach and formal partnership management
    • Collaborate cross-functionally to align Plumes business and community goals with new and existing partner relationships
    • Collaborate with Sr. Manager of Community and Wellness to develop partnership strategies
    • Develop and implement state based community outreach and partnerships strategies
    • Build and execute a communications strategy to stakeholders and partners
    • Take ownership of program reporting and performance
    • Ensure partnerships deliver on promises to members
    • Design and manage a quarterly partners communication strategy
    • Monitor and control program and project costs to ensure that the program is delivered within the approved budget.
    • Understand and comply with confidentiality of personal information and HIPAA compliance.
    • Expect collaboration, shared-decision making, and partnership across clinical and non-clinical care team members. 

Must-Haves:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences, Gender Studies, Human Services, Business, Marketing or other related fields. Years of related experience can be substituted for years of completed education towards a bachelor's degree
    • 3-5 years of program and partnership management in a healthcare, community based, or social care setting
    • 2+ years of direct professional experience developing, negotiating and executing business agreements
    • Skillful in cross-functional work, data analysis, reporting, and building processes
    • Ability to creatively problem solve complex and difficult to navigate challenges
    • Skillful leader in strategic thinking and time management
    • Basic knowledge of all related computer and software applications such as Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel, and Video Conferencing; G-Suite preferred

Nice-to-Haves:

    • Experience working with the transgender and gender non conforming communities
    • Experience in a telehealth environment
    • Experience in a startup environment
    • Experience using productivity software; specifically Asana, Slack, Google Sheets
$91,000 - $95,000 a year
