If you’re ready to make a huge impact and drive the future of autonomy, Plus is looking for talented individuals to join its fast-growing teams.

We are seeking a motivated working student to join our Runtime Team in our Munich office. The Runtime Team plays a crucial role in nearly every aspect of our software stack. We ensure that sensor data, such as camera images, is transmitted efficiently with minimal latency, send commands to the vehicle to guide its movements, and manage how we interact with the vehicles, including visualizing their surroundings.
As part of our team, you'll help enhance the way we interact with both the vehicles and the software that powers them, contributing to our mission of advancing autonomous trucking with our partners. You'll have the opportunity to assist in designing and developing our next-generation vehicle control and monitoring software, which will be used both internally and by our partners.

Responsibilities:

    • Help us design and implement tools to improve our ability to interact with our autonomous driving software
    • Improve the user experience (UX) for our testing activities internally and with our partners to make our operations more efficient
    • Collaborate with other teams for their requirements and needs.
    • Help test the developed software on realistic test benches and onsite

Required Skills:

    • Currently an enrolled student (master preferred) in CS/CE/EE/Robotics
    • Good experience with python and experience with C++
    • Strong Linux fundamentals: working with the terminal, ssh, bash, git and debuggers
    • Some experience with ROS
    • Affinity with robotics projects such as autonomous driving
    • Independent worker, optimistic debugger, and a hands-on mentality

Preferred Skills:

    • Knowledge of concurrency/simultaneous multithreading is a plus
