In this role you will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of Plus' autonomous onboard software infrastructure and software integration within the robotics organization. By working collaboratively with experts in the field of self driving to develop robust systems, you'll expand the capacity of our open autonomy platform.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the C++ code that powers Plus Open Autonomy Platform
- Improve performance and scalability of the onboard system, address functional and reliability issues
- Responsible for Camera and Radar driver development and on-board HPC integration and evaluation for Plus Open Autonomy Platform
- Work with the perception team to design robust architectures and pipelines to create datasets for performance evaluation and benchmarking, as well as supporting perception algorithm development
- Some hands-on on-vehicle testing and hardware integration activities are expected
Required Skills
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or other related engineering fields
- 3 or more years of experience using C++ at an industry level
- Previous working experience with ROS, SoC BSP
- Knowledge of version control tools (e.g Git) and experience with large code bases
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with perception algorithm / deep learning models
- Familiarity with embedded systems and mechatronics systems
- Previous working experience with autonomous vehicles
Salary Range
- $120,000 - $170,000
