ABOUT THE ROLE:
We’ve recently expanded our product offering to the hospitality industry and are searching for an ambitious, results-oriented and target-driven sales team member to grow our partner community in the North American hospitality market. 

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Representative to join our growing sales team. The successful candidate will demonstrate a hunter and growth mentality with strong skills in business development and lead generation. This role will be responsible for identifying and engaging with new business opportunities to support Plusgrade goals.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
• Identify and develop new business opportunities through prospecting and networking in North American Market
• Present a high-level introduction of Plusgrade to potential clients/prospects.
• Contact and source potential clients through cold calls, LinkedIn and emails.
• Qualify leads from Plusgrade’s website enquiries and marketing campaigns as sales opportunities.
• Identify and qualify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services.
• Build long-term trusting relationships with clients.
• Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market.
• Drive and organize meetings between (prospective) clients and Account Executives 
• Report to your manager on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) activity and results.
• Stay up-to-date with all new Plusgrade products/services and new pricing/payment plans.

YOU ARE SOMEONE WITH:
• Knowledge and understanding of the hospitality market 
• 2-5 years proven business development experience selling technology solutions to the hospitality industry
• Strong communication and creative outreach efforts
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and networking skills
• Strong organizational skills with an ability to prioritize efficiently 
• Technologically savvy, able to quickly understand our solutions, our value proposition, our product and development roadmaps
• Experience with CRM software and other sales tools
• Ability to travel as needed
