Position Summary
The Talent Acquisition Specialist III is a fully proficient recruiter who independently manages full-cycle recruiting for a variety of roles across departments. They serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers by consulting on job requirements, candidate profiles, and interview strategy. This level is expected to proactively source talent using multiple platforms, develop and maintain candidate pipelines, and build strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and external partners. The Specialist III will be involved in refining recruitment processes, ensuring an exceptional candidate experience, and aligning hiring outcomes with team and organizational goals. They stay current on labor market trends and contribute to talent attraction strategies, including employer branding and diversity outreach. This role requires a balance of executional excellence, data-driven decision-making, and a customer-service mindset.
Position Responsibilities
- Supports full-cycle recruitment activities for roles with guidance from senior recruiters.
- Assists in posting jobs across internal systems and external job boards, ensuring accuracy and alignment with job descriptions.
- Screens resumes for basic qualifications and conducts initial candidate outreach using templates and guided scripts.
- Schedules interviews, facilitates communications between candidates and hiring teams, and collects feedback post-interview.
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date applicant records in the applicant tracking system (ATS); ensures data integrity and compliance.
- Supports onboarding logistics, including preparing offer letters, collecting documentation, and coordinating new hire orientations.
- Participates in local recruiting events (e.g., job fairs, community outreach) and assists in building a campus recruiting presence.
- Develops familiarity with EEO/OFCCP compliance requirements and internal recruitment policies.
- Collaborates with the HR team to support broader talent-related initiatives and administrative tasks.
- Seeks mentorship and participates in continuous learning to build recruiting capabilities and tools proficiency.
- Other duties as assigned.
Position Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field required; relevant certifications (e.g., AIRS, LinkedIn Recruiter, SHRM-CP, CIR) are a plus.
- 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in a corporate or agency setting.
- Proficient in using applicant tracking systems, sourcing platforms (LinkedIn, Boolean search, job boards), and HR databases.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple open requisitions independently across various functions or locations.
- Strong consultative skills with the ability to partner with hiring managers and HR peers.
- Understanding labor market trends, compensation, and hiring compliance practices.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with candidates, colleagues, and business leaders.

Additional Requirements
Physical: Standing or sitting for long periods; must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times and spend extended hours in front of a computer screen.
