About the role
PngMe is looking for a mid-to-senior-level Data Scientist who can independently run deep data investigations, partner with our product and engineering teams, support our customers with analytic and modeling solutions, and evangelize data science across the organization.

Responsibilities
- Run impactful inferential analyses and data investigations to develop deep understanding of data 
-Identify recurring patterns, root causes, and propose actionable product solutions
-Build, validate, fine-tune, and deploy machine learning models as product via a robust MLOps pipeline
-Partner with the product, design, and engineering teams to define and monitor key business metrics, build visualizations and dashboards, present actionable insights across the organization, and collaborate on platform functionality
-Work collaboratively with customers to identify problems, build analytics & modeling solutions, present insights, and demonstrate the value of Pngme’s products
-Provide thought leadership on developing cultural excellence around statistical analysis, experimentation, and modeling

Requirements
-Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Engineering, or a closely related field
-5+ years of professional experience as a data scientist 
-Working knowledge of scientific computing language (Python preferred), SQL, and data visualization tools.
-Strong knowledge of probability and statistics. Deep understanding of experimentation analysis workflows
-Comfortable with working in cloud environment such as AWS (ec2, emr, Redshift, Sagemaker)
-Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical concepts and information to both technical and non-technical audiences

Plus
-Industry experience with credit risk analysis and underwriting principles
-Data engineering experience and data pipeline tooling (Airflow, Spark)
-Experience working with customers to identify problems and provide solutions
-Familiarity with NLP concepts and practical application on text data
-Experience deploying models into production environment (Sagemaker, MLFlow, Kubeflow)
-Kaggle Master / Grandmaster

Salary: $140,000 - $200,000 USD
