About the Role
We’re looking for a talented and ambitious Product Marketing Manager who will own product positioning and messaging for our key markets of Nigeria & Kenya. This role will drive go-to-market strategy across key launches ensuring product communication is clear, concise and accurately addresses our customer’s market challenges.  The role requires a high level of cross collaboration with Pngme’s sales and product teams in Kenya and Nigeria to ensure new product releases are understood internally and communicated effectively across countries and customer personas.

Responsibilities

    • Develop go-to-market strategies, driving launches for new products and features in Kenya and Nigeria.
    • Act as the “voice of the customer” and develop a deep understanding of their needs and champion them internally
    • Communicate the vision and value of new products internally
    • Collaborate with the head of product to define a regular communication and launch processes
    • Conduct market analysis to obtain understanding of the competitive landscape and help establish product differentiators
    • Educate both internal and external stakeholders on our product features and their benefits
    • Develop product pricing models, key messaging, and value proposition
    • Collaborate with marketing director on programs that highlight the benefits of our products
    • Develop and maintain sales tools that facilitate the sales process
    • Work with Product and Sales to establish programs to continuously assess product feedback from both existing customers and prospects. Steward product marketing initiatives that will drive new acquisition and improve retention amongst key segments

Requirements

    • 4+ years working in product marketing
    • Experience working with Hubspot
    • Customer obsession
    • Experience working with a B2B SaaS company preferably in fintech
    • Comfortable guiding strategic decisions and gaining agreement across teams
    • An understanding of performance marketing metrics, and digital KPIs
    • Outstanding writing and presentation skills to share recommendations with senior stakeholders
    • Proven track record of executing successful product launches
