What You’ll Do:
- Build scalable test automation processes to maximize creativity, collaboration & efficiency
- Build, manage, maintain, and monitor the automated testing suite
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand the requirements and turn them into test plans
- Interpret and report test results, and be a vocal proponent for quality in every phase of the development process
- Document, and track resolutions for software defects identified in the testing process using approved tools and processes
- Attend standup meetings, test plans, and business requirements walkthroughs
- Lead code reviews as well as drive architecture and technical design discussions
- Mentor and coach junior engineers, looking for growth opportunities and leading by example
What You Have:
- Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science or related discipline
- 3+ years of experience in testing web-based or SaaS applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical thinking skills.
- Experience in the software development lifecycle, focusing on software quality
- Highly motivated, resilient, and a tenacious passion for winning
- Strong hand-on experience in TypeScript
- Strong hands-on experience with Cypress.io e2e & component testing
- Strong experience in REST API testing using tools such as Postman, or equivalent
- Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools such as Github Actions, or equivalent.
- Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber is highly preferred
- Experience with a SaaS fintech startup
- [Preferred] Mortgage capital markets experience highly
