About This Opportunity: 

Popmenu’s Sales Development Summer Internship is a 10 week immersive summer program that will give you hands-on experience at one of the most exciting companies in the restaurant-tech space! Through this program, you’ll make a big impact by bringing your unique perspectives and insights to the team, helping us revolutionize the hospitality industry. You’ll be on the front lines - introducing Popmenu to independent restaurant operators and getting them excited about our product!

This is a fully in-person role based in our Atlanta office 

Our ideal intern is competitive, coachable, creative, and excited to build a foundation for a career in SaaS sales.  This internship is designed to challenge you while allowing you to showcase and develop your skills alongside our Sales Leadership team.

$18 - $18 an hour

Responsibilities

- Identify ICPs (Ideal Customer Profile) in top10 major markets as directed by the Regional Sales Leaders 
- Blueprint targeted pursuit lists in assigned markets, build account dossiers 
- Analyze and trends of key markets (e.g., legislation, labor trends, market trends) 
- Analyze sales and customer data 
- Work with Sales Enablement to develop quick hit trainings; participate in 0-30 Fast Start activities/learnings 
- Prospect, Cold call, set demos, drive top-of-funnel activity, remotely and/or in-person/in-field as directed by Sales leadership 
- Participate in full life-cycle selling with the support of Sales leadership 
- Assist in updating cadences in Salesloft, including standardization of approach and messaging, as well as clean up of old/prior records 
- Assist in the creation of Sales presentations and proposals to internal and external partners/customers 
- Participate in sales meetings, interns meetings, customer meetings and other misc meetings and events as directed by leadership 
- Collaborate with other department and customers to ensure the successful execution of Sales goals 
- Diary experiences, culminating in a final presentation to leadership


Qualifications

- Passion for the restaurant industry, not just because you consider yourself a foodie, but because you care about helping small-to-medium sized business owners thrive
- Strong interest in pursuing a career in sales and working directly with end customers; prior experience in selling a plus 
- Enthusiasm for prospecting, cold-calling, learning the science of sales 
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team 
- Proficient in using technology, such as Microsoft Office, Zoom, Slack; with interest and willingness to learn additional tools such as Salesforce, Salesloft 
- Highly motivated and driven to achieve results 
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and management multiple tasks simultaneously
