The Role:
This position will report to the NPI manager, and will be responsible for ensuring consistent print quality across PopSockets facilities globally as well as managing and continually improving processes for graphic introductions.
Responsibilities:
- Standardize print quality of graphics across all PopSockets facilities:
- Work cross-functionally with CMF, creative, licensing, supply chain, document control, quality engineers, and sales teams towards process improvement for graphic introductions and print standardization.
- Work with print leads to continue growth of color management program, building out consistent color matching at all PopSockets facilities.
- Spearhead graphic introductions:
- Maintain a clean and organized database and physical storage system of all graphics.
- Work with promotional sales and wholesale customer service teams to approve all prints for daily Global production.
- Manage sample orders, including graphic approvals and custom requests:
- Operate as the primary point of contact and company-wide expert regarding graphics for all PopSockets products.
○ Make graphic adjustments to print files to achieve desired aesthetic from design team.
○ Create ‘golden samples’ of all PopSockets graphics for reference at factories and fulfillment centers, create FFID for print process.
○ Provide clear and quick feedback to factories and fulfillment centers on printed graphics until consistent appearance is achieved.
○ Review top of production samples from PopSockets facilities to ensure consistent matching against golden sample.
○ Develop shared tracking mechanism for new graphics to keep all parties informed on approval status.
○ Enter orders in ERP system and work with Boulder production for urgent orders and general scheduling.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred
- Proficiency in Photoshop required
- Must be detail oriented with strong organizational skills
- Strong understanding of CMYK vs RGB color spaces and design vs. print files
- Understanding of or experience with PLM software is a plus
